Please review the Job Description and letter to prospective candidate, "Best Practices Recommendations for Developing a Lifespan Faith and Spiritual Development Initiative", and supporting information. Please email us if you are interested.

April 2009 Services:

April 5 – Justice, Equity, Compassion With All - Rev. Don Southworth
We continue our series on the seven principles. Justice, equity and compassion are big concepts that are hard to define and maybe even harder to live. We’ll reflect on how we can do both.

April 12 – Easter Sunday – Rev. Don Southworth – Rev. Deborah Cayer – Rev.
Claudia Frost

Join us for our annual intergenerational Easters service when we revisit the transforming Easter story of death, life, renewal and rebirth. The Hallelujah Chorus will join us and the famous bunny will be with us between services.

April 19 – Covenant of Being - Rev. Deborah Cayer
We conclude our series on the seven principles. Our seventh UU principle acknowledges our human interdependence with the web of all of existence. What's webby about human beings and our round, blue jewel of a planet? And actually, is it ours, or do we belong to it?

April 26 - To Awaken A Soul – Rev. Don Southworth
This service was postponed in March. Nine months ago the Vision Quest Team was charged to find the best practices around the country for building a world-class lifespan spiritual and faith development program. Come hear how their work might transform lives at ERUUF and help transformed their lives in the process. (Today is Generosity Sunday. Our recipient will be Clean Energy Durham whose goal is to develop successful and replicable approaches for low and middle income neighborhoods.)

May 3 – Music Sunday – Kevin Badanes – Eno River Singers -Jim Scott
We celebrate our annual music Sunday with a visit from one of Unitarian Universalism’s favorite musicians, Jim Scott. Jim will help us unveil our new hymnal, which he has created and edited.
