Middle School Youth Group meets on the first and third Sunday of each month from 4:00 to 6:00 in Room 7. For more information, ask one of our MSYG advisors: Alex Freemerman, Holly Kingdon, or Rachel Searles or contact Holly Kingdon. The mission of Religious Education at Eno River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship is: To serve the children and youth of ERUUF by nurturing their spiritual growth, promoting UU values and encouraging their participation in our religious community. Our Unitarian Universalist Principles (in language for children):
Provide supplemental materials for lessons and Children’s Chapel, and other teacher resources, as identified. Provide a safe, warm, nurturing, positive environment. Provide opportunities for family involvement, and for family/teacher activities. Build awareness of the RE Program among parents and the congregation. Children and youth worship as part of the larger congregation at the beginning of most services and in intergenerational services. They also gather once a month for Children’s Chapel, a special 15 minute worship service created for and by themselves. Special emphasis is placed on experiencing a sense of the sacred through stories, music and meditation.
