Annual Used Book Sale
Friday, April 30 5:30 - 7:30 pm
Saturday, May 1 9 am - 3 pm
Once again, ERUUF's popular Used Book Sale is on its way. Mark the dates on your calendar now. Anticipating over 4,000 books donated again this year, we will have outstanding selections in, to name a few, children's literature, current events and policy, cookbooks, mysteries, romance, science, finance, history . People always comment on the varied and eclectic choices we offer, plus tables overflowing with recent bestsellers in both fiction and nonfiction.
Friday evening, April 30 you can browse and buy while enjoying appetizers and drinks. Prices range from $1.00 up to $5, including books that are in such good condition you can consider re-gifting them. Book drop off begins Sunday, April 18th in Room 1 of the Care Building, and continues for the next ten days there. Please remember, we do not accept textbooks, computer manuals or encyclopedias.
Please consider volunteering: We need help sorting, moving, setting up and taking down. Linda Jay will be tabling in the Fellowship Hall at both coffee hours until April 25. Or, you can call her at 960-4022. This sale is a gigantic effort but lots of fun. In addition, Linda will host another pot luck pool party in the summer to reward all the volunteers.
For your convenience, the annual plant sale is the same weekend. So you can have double the fun.
