Thomas Jefferson District
of the UUA
The Thomas
Jefferson District is comprised of 60 Affiliated and 8 Unaffiliated
congregations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia
and 4 congregations in Southeast Georgia. We represent some 9,065
adult members and 3,226 children and youth.

Durham-San Ramon Sister Community
An organization
that promotes friendship and understanding between folks in NC and in a
rural section of Nicaragua (San Ramon) via people to people exchanges,
ecotourism and economic and community development projects. They have a
web site that goes into lots of detail about the project. The
Durham-San Ramon organization meets on fourth Mondays at 7:30 pm at
ERUUF.

This

Thomas Jefferson District Youth Steering Committee
DYSC
(District Youth Steering Committee) is a district-level organization,
affiliated with the UUA (Unitarian
Universalist Association). TJDYSC is technically a subdivision of
the Thomas Jefferson District, but is more closely linked to the youth
offices in Boston (Location of the UUA headquarters). A DYSC is
composed of youth who represent different regions of the district (In
our case, that's Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina,
and a little bit of Georgia. Check out our
