September 5   The Architecture of Time

Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel thought of  worship as "the architecture of time." What on earth did he mean? And what is worship for Unitarian Universalists? During this morning's service we'll re-present a Distinguished Service Award to Georgie and Rick Searles which was originally awarded to them at last spring's TJD Annual Meeting.

 

September 12   Ingathering – Water Service (**Two Services: 9:30 abd 11:15 am**)

Bring a bit of water from your summer travels (near or far) to add to our common bowl at this service for All Ages. Singing, stories, songs, and prayers for the ocean will fill this morning’s service. This is a Social Justice Sunday. 

Today we'll hear how ERUUF's direct support has benefited the National Farm Workers    Ministry for more than ten years. Today's offering will directly support ERUUF's Social Justice ministries.

 

September 19   Gifts of Faith

During the High Holy Days, Jews intentionally turn back to their tradition’s essentials, and in doing so find a renewed faith to live lives of hope and meaning.  What are the essentials that members of this faith community return to again and again?  What are the gifts that come to us from our UU faith when we do

 

September 26  Ministerial Transition Service Rev. Jacqueline Luck, TJD Ministerial Settlement Representative, will lead this service, in which the search process will be explained.
