DESCRIPTION:A moderated conversation in front of an audience about the late
Durham activist\, Pauli Murray. \nThe Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray was a Black w

  lawyer\, professor\, priest -- and a civil and women’s rights influencer.
En route\, Pauli Murray hopped freight trains during the Depression\, int
egrated a Washington D.C. restaurant in 1946\, and inspired Ruth Bader Gin
sberg. If alive today\, Pauli Murray would likely self-identify as transge
nder.\nPauli’s niece\, Rosita Stevens-Holsey\, will be joined at ERUUF by
Angela Mason\, Executive Director of Durham’s Pauli Murray Center for Hist
ory and Social Justice\, for conversation and stories about the extraordin
ary Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray.\nFree and open to all! \n \nThis event is gener
