 esidents were promised by the then candidates who wanted to get elected. O
 ne might ask\, parking only for whom? During this work session the Commiss
 ioners will be briefed by staff\, and will be asked to expedite a parking 
 only strategy. This is an opportunity for County Commissioners to keep the
 ir word to Durham residents and tell their staff that Durham wants both pa
 rking and affordable housing. We are fighting for housing for county emplo
 yees\, first responders\, school teachers\, nurses\, social workers\, bank
  tellers\, and all others that do not qualify for public housing\, but don
