Beltane/May Day Celebration w/ Eno River CUUPS

Families with children are welcome to join us for this joyful celebration which will include a May Pole. This sacred cross-quarter season on the Great Wheel of the Year halfway between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice is a time of community merriment, celebrating the fertility of the Earth and all Earth's children that is upon us now. Traditionally, the May Pole was danced, lovely flowers festooned everything and everyone, and bonfires were lit for all-night festivities.

Beltane marks the point on the Wheel of the Year when we are halfway through Spring, and on our way to the Summer Solstice. You are invited to wear fiery colors or rainbow colors. It is a holiday of revelry and celebration of the fertility of earth. Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
