Food Pantry for Urban Ministries

Did you know that we have a bin in the office for shelf-stable food that goes to the Urban Ministries of Durham’s Food Pantry? This food is distributed to families and individuals who are struggling to feed themselves and their families. With the recent government cut-backs, food banks and pantries are struggling to make up the difference.

We can help. 

On 1st Sundays, there will also be a collection bin in the Fellowship Hall for you to drop off your donations.

This month’s greatest needs:

Peanut butter

Pasta Sauce (no glass jars)

Canned or boxed pasta

Canned meats (chicken, tuna)
