The UU Justice Ministry of North Carolina calls all UUs to gather in Raleigh on it's first annual day of lobbying and advocacy at the North Carolina General Assembly.

It's time once again to give life the shape of justice by showing up and letting our elected state Senators and Representatives hear the voices of Unitarian Universalists on important public issues including voting rights, public education, gun violence, the environment, and health care.

Can we count on you?

Please register now to be a citizen lobbyist with Justice on Jones Street on Tuesday, May 22, 2018.

We'll gather between 9:00 and 9:30 am at Raleigh First Baptist Church (101 South Wilmington Street), learn a little bit about the legislative process, how to talk with legislators, and some of the issues that may be considered during the 2018 legislative session, and then spend some time talking with our elected legislators about those issues. More information is posted on the Forward Together website.

And if you want to be a citizen lobbyist on May 22 but can't come to Raleigh, the UU Justice Ministry of NC website will have information to call or email your legislators from home on May 22nd.
