On Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 12:30 pm ERUUF will hold a multi-platform Annual Meeting of the Fellowship. This is a wonderful opportunity for our members to engage in the governance of our community live and in-person for the first time in three years! We need a quorum of 10% of our membership to open this meeting, so we encourage all of our members to mark this date on your calendar and plan to attend.
From ERUUF's Board of Trustees: UUA Article II Commission
Important Information and Opportunities for Engagement
The by-laws of the UUA require that every 15 years Article II be studied and potentially revised. Article II is the section of the UUA bylaws that serves as the home of our Principles and Sources, the UUA’s Purposes, our Inclusion clause, and Freedom of Belief Statement. In 2020, the UUA established a Study Commission for this purpose. The Commission is now seeking input and engagement with member congregations, according to this Charge.
Following the exuberant Congregational Meeting to call Reverend Brett, the Board got down to business and held a Finance Forum on Sunday, February 13th. The goal was to connect with ERUUFians about where we are financially, how we have both thrived and struggled in the face of many challenges, and to discuss how to move into the vision of possibilities that lay before us. What does it look like to move out of this pandemic-era contraction and into a time of growth? Slides from the presentation are available by clicking this link, and we encourage all members and friends to review them.
Letter to the Congregation
Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees would like to thank the members of the Ministerial Search Committee for their careful work on the search and their commitment to our congregation. We are proud to concur with their recommendation of Rev. Jacqueline Brett as the candidate for ERUUF’s Lead Minister.
We hereby announce a special meeting of the full congregation on January 30th to vote on the call of Rev. Jacqueline Brett as ERUUF’s next Lead Minister.

Thanks to all who attended the finance forum last Sunday. We are so looking forward to getting to see more and more folks over the coming months. It has been a long pandemic and the ERUUF Board of Trustees is eager to connect!
As the Board reflected at our retreat earlier in the year, two things were obvious: we are in a time of great transition as a congregation and we need each other. And so, ERUUF’s Annual Vision of MInistry was born: A Year of Connection and Change. While these ideas might feel a bit at odds, this vision conjures for me the image of our joining, hand in hand, and moving as one towards a great new adventure.
The Ministerial Search Committee met for the first time on Wednesday, August 4, 2021. Having been approved by the congregation to carry out a search and recommend a ministerial candidate for a congregational vote, we are excited about the important work that lies ahead. We have already begun learning about the UUA’s recommended procedures and guidelines for the search process. Using these guidelines will enable us to benefit from the wisdom gained through many years of experience with ministerial searches throughout the denomination. Please note that we will be using this as a guide. Each ministerial search is unique to the congregation and the time it is taking place. Those who would like more information on the process can find it online in the Settlement Handbook.
Sunday, June 13, 2020, 1:00 - 2:30 PM via Zoom.
All members are asked to join us for this very important meeting. Registration is required.
Our Annual Meeting will be virtual this year and will include very important information regarding the state of ERUUF and our future. We will also vote on our fiscal year 2021-22 budget as well as nominees for the Board of Trustees, Healthy Congregation Committee, and Nominating Committee. All members are asked to join us for this very important meeting. Contact the Board directly with questions: .
