Will text giving show up on my phone bill?

Never. You set up a payment method (bank account, credit/debit card) during the simple first time setup.

What are the instructions to start text giving?

Use a smartphone or computer for initial payment setup.
  1. Text your amount to 919-323-4969.
    Optional: include a giving keyword (see below)
  2. Follow the instructions texted back to you. You will need to go online briefly for the first time setup.

What are giving keywords?

Keywords let you designate where you gift goes. Your gift will automatically go into your pledge unless you use a keyword.

How do I change my payment method, add a recurring gift, edit my stuff?

Text edit to the giving number - 919-323-4969 - and follow the instructions.

Can I text give with my not-so-smart phone?

Absolutely. You just need to set up your payment method online first. Click/tap the Give Now button above.

Can I give without a smart phone or without texting?

Absolutely. You can give by clicking the Give Now button above. You can optionally sign up to save your giving information. Follow the instructions below under How do I save my information for online giving?

How do I save my information for online giving?

Create or sign in to your account.

  1. Click the Give Now button above.
  2. Click the SIGN IN tab link at the top.
  3. Sign in or register if you don't have a Kindrid account.
  4. Enter a gift like you have before. The system will automatically save your information.

How do I start a scheduled (recurring) gift?

  1. Click the Give Now button above.
  2. Click the SIGN IN tab link at the top.
  3. Sign in or register if you don't have a Kindrid account.
  4. Choose your fund and amount. More options will appear.
  5. Check the MAKE THIS GIFT RECURRING.
  6. Choose how often and when you would like it to start.
  7. Choose your payment method under I'd Like To Give By.
  8. Click the SUBMIT button when you are ready.

You will receive a confirmation of your setup.

How do I change or add payment methods (bank accounts, credit cards)?

  1. Click the Give Now button above.
  2. Click the SIGN IN tab link and sign in.
    If you don't have a password, use your phone to get in.
  3. Click your initials in the upper right of the page and click My Account.
  4. Click Payment Methods in the left column of the page.
  5. Use the pencil icon to update and the trash can icon to delete existing payment methods. Use the + ADD PAYMENT METHOD link at the bottom to add a new payment method.
  6. Click the SAVE button to save each change or addition that you make.

How do I adjust scheduled gifts or see my giving history?

  1. Click the Give Now button above.
  2. Click the SIGN IN tab link and sign in.
    If you don't have a password, use your phone number to get in.
  3. Click the SCHEDULED tab link for your scheduled gift(s).
  4. Click the HISTORY tab link for your giving history.

What if I am already enrolled in auto-draft through MyERUUF?

Please convert to the new Kindrid giving system. We will follow up with everyone enrolled in auto-draft to make the transition seamless.
