You are warmly invited to join us in person to celebrate Litha / Summer Solstice. The word "Litha" comes from an old Anglo-Saxon month-name meaning "gentle," for the gentle ocean winds that give sailors a smooth passage at this time of year. With this name origin, plus the sun being at its zenith here in the Northern Hemisphere, Litha is a time to celebrate both Fire and Water. We'll call on the light that each of us shines on the world through times of blessings and times of trials. We'll bring in the Flow of Consciousness and Light of Presence to help empower our roles tending and nourishing the Earth-Spirit, the Human-Spirit, the spirits of our families, friends, and communities, and our own precious spirit. Our gathering will honor the Goddess Juno, Queen of Heaven, who the month of June is named for, and will include Calling the Directions, a sacred song with simple movements, a meditation-journey, group sharing, and more, with planning and presenting contributed by Eno River CUUPS member Joan Robertson. We'll celebrate fairies, fireflies, flowers, and the flames of transformation!

This is a participatory gathering open to all those ages 16 and older, and to children ages 15 and younger who are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Feel free to invite like-hearted others. Masking is optional for participants; see current ERUUF safety guidelines for details.
