A moderated conversation in front of an audience about the late Durham activist, Pauli Murray. 

The Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray was a Black woman and Durham native who overcame one obstacle after another to become a lawyer, professor, priest -- and a civil and women’s rights influencer. En route, Pauli Murray hopped freight trains during the Depression, integrated a Washington D.C. restaurant in 1946, and inspired Ruth Bader Ginsberg. If alive today, Pauli Murray would likely self-identify as transgender.

Pauli’s niece, Rosita Stevens-Holsey, will be joined at ERUUF by Angela Mason, Executive Director of Durham’s Pauli Murray Center for History and Social Justice, for conversation and stories about the extraordinary Rev. Dr. Pauli Murray.
