Join members of our ERUUF Refugee and Immigrant Action Group at our second Lunch & Learn!  Hear from local organizations working to support and safeguard Latinx families in the Triangle, and how you can support their efforts. A light lunch of beans and rice will be served. 

We will have representatives from a variety of local groups, including:  

• El Futuro-- provides mental health services to Spanish-speaking clients

• Siembra NC-- organizes & empowers Latinx communities

We will also share plans to learn about the root causes of migration from Central America through an immersive week-long seminar in Honduras with Cristosal, an organization that defends human rights and promotes democratic rule of law in Central America. This seminar is scheduled for this coming September.
