RENews:
This past Sunday, children and youth channeled their inner imagination as they made fun creations out of cardboard boxes. It was truly a day of “thinking outside of the box” as the children and youth played a fun imaginative game, read the book Not a Box by Antoinette Portis, and designed masterpieces out of ordinary cardboard boxes. They made rocket ships, houses, airplanes, people’s faces, and abstract art. It was a super fun and silly summer RE class!
We hope you can join us next week as we continue our summer RE classes. All children and youth will gather together to make tie dyes as we begin our celebration of pride month! We will have gloves and “scrap t-shirts” for children to wear to protect their clothing. Their final creations will be featured in the art gallery in the sanctuary lobby later this month.
