Meet the team

Tucker McKinney

Tucker McKinney is a native Durhamite and lifelong (if inconsistent) ERUUFian who lives near Hillsborough with his wife, Sherry, and children, Toby (12) and Cora (9). Following a decade teaching philosophy, he now works as a software engineer and civic technologist. He is looking forward to working with the Denominational Affairs team to strengthen the congregation's connections to the broader UU community.

Lila Rosa

Rev. Lila Rosa is an ordained interfaith minister and sheikh (spiritual guide) in the Sufi Ruhaniat International. She has been a member of ERUUF for six years currently and for five years previously. In 2017, she co-founded the Faith Group, Eno River CUUPS (Covenant of Unitarian Universalist PaganS), where she co-facilitates eight annual seasonal celebrations honoring Nature and the Great Wheel of the Year. She is spiritual director for Rose Heart Sufi Community and founded the Triangle area Dances of Universal Peace community where she serves as a Dance mentor and Dance leader. She is a singer, songwriter, musician, and founding member of Jewelsong, an eclectic women’s quartet. She is a frame drum teacher and musician in the tradition of the late Layne Redmond. Since 2017, Lila has been an enthusiastic member of ERUUF Earth Justice Action Group, and is looking forward to serving on the ERUUF Denominational Affairs team. She lives in Durham and works fulltime as a Tech Project Manager.
