RENews:
This past Sunday children and youth gathered to wrap up the April theme of the month, embracing possibilities.
The PreK/K group started the class by playing a silly superhero game, then they introduced themselves to the class and learned about how they are all superheroes! They also read the book The Dot by Peter Reynolds, and made their very own dot art!
The 1st - 5th grade class began the class by learning a new song and discussing National Superhero Day. Then, they listened to a UU wisdom tale about Christopher Reeve and participated in small group discussions. Afterwards, they broke into groups based on interest. The activity group made a bracelet that showcased UU values, while the game group played superhero games.
The Middle School RE group met to learn about embracing possibilities in each of us. They discussed UU superheroes, made some crafts, and played games centered around our own superpowers!
High School Youth Group enjoyed a breakfast buffet of bagels and fruit for lunch (thanks, Prue!) and made some perler bead creations.
