This past Sunday, children and youth gathered to celebrate ERUUF’s 60th birthday!

The PreK/K group started the class by talking about Earth Day and playing a fun game! Then, they introduced themselves and listened to The Earth Book by Todd Parr. Afterwards, they made birthday hats and decorated pennants with their wishes for ERUUF.

The 1st - 5th grade class started their celebration of “ERUUF’s 60th Birthday” by talking about the history of ERUUF. Then, they discussed their birthday wishes for ERUUF in small groups. Afterwards, they rotated through party-themed stations. Stations included goodie bags, a Lego cake, decorating party hats, and playing party games! At the end, they had a watermelon “cake” and plenty of fruit to eat before sign-out.

The 6th-8th graders began the RE class by discussing the question “what does the world need from us”. Then, they made fun paintings and did an outdoor color scavenger hunt! They wrapped up the class by playing a fun game together.

Middle School Youth Group had pizza and snacks before going to The Boulder Garden for an afternoon of climbing. High School Youth Group had pizza, then did check-ins and had plenty of time to chat and hang out.
