This past Sunday, children and youth gathered to learn about the UU value of love. They began the class by playing Simon Says, and introducing themselves to the class. Then, they read the book The Paper Party by Don Freeman. After discussing the story, they made puppets! The children and youth used felt, glue, buttons, googly eyes, pipe cleaners, feathers, and pom poms to make their own puppets! Their puppets will be displayed in the sanctuary gallery soon.
