UU Justice NC's Friday Action Hour - Friday, July 10th at 11:00am - What's Going On With Duke Energy? This week, Russ Outcalt from the UU Fellowship of Raleigh will teach us about the threat of Duke Energy to our state's climate future, including the 2026 Carbon Plan & Integrated Resource Plan, Duke's pause on solar power installation, and SB 730 “The Ratepayer Protection Act.” Then, we will take action writing public comments to the NC Utilities Commission and emails to Gov. Stein.

Organizing Against Islamophobia and Racism - Tuesday, July 14th from 7:00 - 8:00 on Zoom.

Manzoor Cheema from Muslims for Social Justice will offer a workshop connecting Islamophobia to other oppressions, including economic injustice, racism, attacks on immigrants and refugees, and war. He will provide practical examples of how people can take action against these oppressions in their neighborhoods, workplaces, education institutions, and other places. Register here.
