Together We Raised $10,000 for Farm Workers in NC! THANK YOU to the 115 UUs and friends who donated to our annual Farm Worker Hydration Drive in partnership with El Futuro Es Nuestro. Your generosity has allowed UU Justice NC to purchase and deliver thousands of electrolyte powder packets to help to keep farm workers in NC safe and hydrated during the hot summer harvest months. Resisting Christian Nationalism in North Carolina - The Dogwood Faith Project is UU Justice NC’s multiyear program to resist the rise of Christian Nationalism in North Carolina. As part of UU the Vote, UU Justice NC is offering multiple opportunities to participate in our 3-part training sessions on Zoom. The series will teach you how to resist Christian Nationalism through canvassing, phonebanking, and everyday conversation.

Friday, July 24, at 4:30 PM at Halifax Mall in Raleigh - Bearing Witness: Standing with Farm Workers - a community vigil hosted by our partners, El Futuro Es Nuestro and The National Farm Worker Ministry. Together we will honor the lives of farm workers who have died from heat stress and stand in solidarity with workers who are advocating for stronger heat protections.
