Our annual pledge campaign has launched, and it is time to consider how each of us will support ERUUF financially in the upcoming fiscal year. As Rev. Cayer shared with us, there is much good news. ERUUF is in excellent condition and has experienced abundant growth in 2018 with increases in both membership and member engagement. But, “it takes a village,” a village of staff and volunteers to support and sustain this growth.
This spring, UU Forward Together is offering three one-day workshops on "Becoming a Justice-Making Congregation: Creating, Growing, and Nurturing Social Justice Ministry in UU Congregations" in eastern, central and western North Carolina.
The Eno River Fellowship Foundation Board seeks to fund creative proposals describing projects that align with one or more of ERUUF’s Strategic Vision Goals, which are as follows:
1. Engage members as a Beloved Community to live our UU Principles
2. Create pathways for spreading justice and the light of our liberal religion
3. Create a culture where racial equity and inclusion is the norm
4. Build ERUUF’s organizational capacity
A new phase has been reached in the COVID-19 virus.
As a spiritual community, we at ERUUF strive to create a culture of respect and care for one another. Our Covid-19 policies have been guided by serious concern and consideration for the safety and well-being of all ERUUF members, staff, and visitors, with a commitment to equity and care for the most vulnerable among us and those who are marginalized both at ERUUF and in the larger community.
